Sarasota County Government approved upgrading Bee Ridge, Venice Gardens, and Central County Wastewater Reclamation Facilities (WRF) to Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT). The Bee Ridge WRF AWT facility broke ground on March 22, 2022.
