Sarasota Bay, Little Sarasota Bay, Blackburn Bay, and Roberts Bay were delisted as impaired for chl-A during the 2022-2024 FDEP impaired waters assessment, signaling improved water quality. In response, SBEP launched a Water Quality Protection Plan (WQPP) to sustain improvements.
