The completion of the restoration of Warm Mineral Springs Creek stabilized shorelines, removed invasive plants and sediment, and rehabilitated manatee habitat. A $14.5M NOAA grant is funding the Alligator Creek Stream Restoration, which will restore wetlands, improve water flow, and remove 1,500 pounds of nitrogen annually by 2027.
